awn-applet-showdesktop software package provides An applet for Awn, similar to the showdesktop icon of gnome-panel, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install awn-applet-showdesktop
awn-applet-showdesktop is installed in your system.
Make ensure the awn-applet-showdesktop package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep awn-applet-showdesktop *
